Enter to win a Youth VIP Experience

County youth are invited for a chance to win a unique, behind the scenes VIP prize package from Strathcona County!.

Youth can enter by simply signing up for the County’s online public engagement platform; County Voice. The winner and a friend will get a chance to choose one of five VIP County experiences – from checking out lifesaving equipment with firefighters to cruising with enforcement services and the RCMP or getting backstage access at Festival Place to doing a puck drop at a Crusaders game or gaining insider knowledge of the Strathcona Wilderness Centre!

“Our local youth have a wealth of ideas and energy that can help inform the County’s programming and services,” says Sherri-Dawn Annett, Supervisor, Public Engagement. “By offering these unique prize packages, we are encouraging youth to sign up to have their voices heard and have a say in County decisions.”

The contest, which opened on December 22, features a movie theatre ad voiced by a local youth and fun social media posts by various departments to entice youth to choose their VIP experience above all others. Keep an eye on our social media for details of each prize package!

County Voice is an online platform that provides opportunities for Strathcona County residents to share ideas, discuss important topics, give feedback and shape the future of the County. All public engagement opportunities are posted on County Voice.
