Get out of the house and enjoy all that nature has to offer! Time On the Land allows visitors to book a 1-hour time slot to enjoy meeting a range of farm animals and walking the available trails on the 40-acre property. Bring a picnic to fully enjoy a complete outdoor experience for you and your family.

Talking Rock Tours

An immersive experience to walk through some of the geological wonders found within Strathcona County. These guided tours include both natural and cultural history in a storytelling setting to help you learn more about earth sciences and Indigenous knowledge from highly trained and experienced tour guides.

Trails

Strathcona County has trails for days located across the entire municipality. From beautiful walking paths within Sherwood Park, to mountain biking trails in Cooking Lake Blackfoot Provincial Park Recreation Area. You can explore the outdoors and discover your adventure  right here in Strathcona County.

Ukrainian Village

History is brought to life at this fully immersive open-air museum. Visitors can learn about first-hand stories that brought settlers to east-central Alberta and the incredible impact that Ukrainian immigration had on Alberta’s cultural identity. The museum is open for visitors from mid-May to early September.
