Go for a walk and check out the holiday lights in Broadmoor Lake Park through the holiday season!
The LED tree will be lit up daily, starting November 21 at Celebration of Lights, in front of Festival Place through the holiday season from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. The soundtrack for the tree light show can be heard on the radio by tuning in to 103.3 FM.
Seniors' winter walk
This gentle, welcoming program is perfect for older adults who want to keep moving and meet others in the community. Sponsored by Inter Pipeline.

Seniors' Skate

Winter events
Celebration of Lights
Saturday, November 21 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Wear your favourite holiday sweater or elf hat and join us at the Celebration of Lights! This family-friendly event, held at Festival Place, is entirely free and aims to entertain the whole family with an LED tree show, holiday music, holiday activities and games.
New Year's Festival
Thursday, December 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Ring in the new year with free family-friendly activities and entertainment. Enjoy live performances, winter fun zones and more – then wrap up the night with our annual fireworks show at Broadmoor Lake Park!
Santa Skate
Join us for a free, festive tradition the whole family will love — our annual Santa Skate, presented by Servus Credit Union!
Enjoy a magical afternoon on the ice complete with Santa, cookie decorating, hot chocolate and colouring fun. Open to all ages. Helmets are recommended, and skate aids are available. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by someone 14Y+ at all times.

Santa Swim
Make a splash this holiday season at our festive Santa Swim, sponsored by Cambrian! Bring the family for a joyful morning in the water with photos with Santa (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.), pool games, mermaids and more.
Toonie ($2.00) admission rates apply, or attend with your Active Pass. Children under eight must be within arm's reach of someone 14+ at all times (maximum three children per supervising person). Lifejackets are available free of charge.
