Public disclosure of Elected Officials' business expenses is meant to enhance accountability and transparency, through routine disclosure of information on expenses incurred by the County's Elected Officials, and to enhance public confidence in the oversight of expenses incurred by those in office.

This collective budget allows Council to participate strategically in events and initiatives that promote the overall welfare of the organization, rather than focusing solely on individual interests. Corporate Activities are budgeted for on a whole; budget is not broken down by individual Elected Official.
