Facility closures and program cancellations

ALL Strathcona County recreation and culture facilities are CLOSED and programs are CANCELLED until June 15 or until further notice. Visit Strathcona County’s COVID-19 page often for updates, including information on recreation pass and program refunds.

Updates and notices

Millennium Place will be hosting the Silver Tide Invitational Swim Meet March 6 – 8. The wave and lap pools will be closed periodically during this time. Check strathcona.ca/mp for the schedule.

Kinsmen Leisure Centre – Please note that the kids pool, diving boards, hot tub, and steam room, and the specialty change room are currently closed due to construction.

When in doubt, pools are out!

Keep the POO out of the pool: stay out of the pool if you have diarrhea (within the last 14 days*). Please do your part to help keep our pools clean and open!

Children under 6Y must be accompanied by someone 14Y+ at all times while using the recreation centres. In our aquatic facilities children under 8Y must be within arms reach of someone 14Y+ at all times. The ratio of supervision is 1:3.
