Front counter closure

The RCMP and Enforcement Services front counter will remain closed on Saturdays temporarily. Hours of operation will be 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Fingerprint services are by appointment only, call 780-449-0100 to schedule an appointment. The public can access the 24-hour complaint line at 780-467-7741. Please call 9-1-1 for emergencies.

Fingerprint services

Until further notice: Fingerprint services are by appointment only, call 780-449-0100 to schedule an appointment. 

  • Ink and Roll Fingerprints: $63 per set
  • Digital Fingerprinting: $84 per set

Two pieces of valid government ID including one piece of photo ID must be presented at the time of digital and ink and roll fingerprint processing.

Cashless transactions preferred. Debit / credit card preferred payment methods.

*Service provided for non-residents that live in a RCMP jurisdiction (not served by a local police force).

Criminal records and security clearance services

Strathcona County residents
In person applications (processed same day, except in exceptional circumstances). Please note: the Alberta RCMP's online pilot for residents to apply online is discontinued (as of March 6, 2022). Alberta RCMP will use the pilot's technical and logistical insights for future tool development to serve multiple detachments throughout Alberta.  

Single - $50
Volunteers with a registered non-profit organization – fees will be waived for those Strathcona County residents who provide a letter from the volunteer agency written on the agency's letterhead.

Two pieces of government issued ID (one being photo ID) must be presented at time of application for the Criminal Record Check to be processed. 

Record suspension (formerly called Pardons) - $73.50
