An updated Sidewalk Clearing Bylaw will mean safer conditions for pedestrians in Strathcona County neighbourhoods. On January 18, 2022, Council voted to amend the Sidewalk Clearing Bylaw from eight days to 48 hours for clearing sidewalks around private properties, effective immediately.
A central, accessible site has been selected for the proposed multi-use indoor fieldhouse. The site is located east of Broadmoor Boulevard on Buckingham Drive, and is central to Millennium Place and Centennial Park, Bethel Transit Terminal, Emerald Hills Leisure Centre and Sally Stewart Regional Park.

Gallery@501 is wasting no time in starting off an exciting 2022 exhibition season with three Western Canadian artist exhibits: “Infinitesimal”, "Chromatopia” and “For the Birds”. All three exhibits are on display within newly renovated gallery spaces from January 14 until February 19.
Snow route clearing is complete, and County crews will start removing snow on remaining residential streets today.
