Gallery@501 is pleased to present Repeated Visits to the Museum of Life by local artist, Paddy Lamb. This exhibit opens March 5 and will be on display at Gallery@501 until April 26.

On February 11, Strathcona County Council voted to maintain its current transit service by declining the invitation to join the Regional Transit Services Commission; while also passing a motion to continue exploring partnerships with sub-regional transit initiatives.

Strathcona County Family and Community Services has applied to Alberta Children’s Services to serve as the Family Resource Network Hub for Strathcona County, providing services to children between the ages of 0-18 years and their caregivers.

Improving quality of life for others, diversifying our economy and protecting our environment are just a few ways individuals and groups are making a positive impact in Strathcona County. In recognition of these outstanding contributions and achievements, citizens are invited to nominate an individual or group for the 2020 Strathcona County Awards of Excellence. 

As part of its community-based partnered approach to implement Strathcona County’s Social Framework, Council voted to invest a total of $1,094,660 in 16 local social non-profit sector organizations.
