The Millennium Place Skate Park was built in 2000 and was in need of repairs. The park was designed in conjunction with the steering committee largely composed of local teens and with the support of the RCMP, Safe Community Coalition and the Youth Council.

New Line Skateparks created a 3D model of the redevelopment for the Millennium Place Skate Park.

Sections of the skateboard park were opened up in phases as the construction progressed. Construction was completed in July 2019. 

This unsupervised skate park is located at 2000 Premier Way, Sherwood Park and is open from 6 a.m. - 11 p.m.
