Strathcona County is celebrating Emergency Services staff and commemorating the department’s 65 anniversary, with a video highlighting the high level of care and excellent service that keeps the community safe. 

Celebrate the arrival of 2022 with Strathcona County’s annual New Year’s Eve Festival! Round up the whole family and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, games, dancers, snacks and a fireworks show.

Council approved the 2022 Budget on December 2 that sees Strathcona County’s high quality programs and service levels continue while addressing operational and inflationary pressures.

People who live, work in or visit Strathcona County are invited to complete the 2021 Public Satisfaction Survey online to provide feedback on quality of life and some County services. 

Strathcona County detachment is testing a new online record check service to provide simpler, more efficient customer service. Residents are now able to apply online for criminal record and vulnerable sector checks as part of this RCMP pilot program. 

Strathcona County’s holiday season is set to kick off with a merry ensemble of lights, songs, games and a visit from the jolly man up north.

Celebrate the diverse and talented Gallery@501 members at our annual members exhibit featuring the art of local artists. This year, members were invited to submit artwork that interprets the theme of “belonging”.
