Celebrate Canada Day in the heart of Strathcona County
June 14, 2022

Strathcona County’s largest annual festival returns in-person! This year’s Canada Day celebration at Broadmoor Lake Park (Oak Street, Sherwood Park) features indoor and outdoor activities for all ages, as well as live entertainment throughout the day.
The festival kicks off July 1 at 9 a.m. with a pancake breakfast and stage show in the Community Centre Agora (located at 401 Festival Lane, Sherwood Park). At 10 a.m., activities begin at Broadmoor Lake Park. The celebration wraps up with the Sobeys Lakeland & Nottingham fireworks display at 11 p.m.
Most activities are free, but some require tickets or an Unlimited Access Wristband. Wristbands are on sale now until June 30 for $5 at the information desk in Sherwood Park Mall (cash only) and Recreation Administration office, Ardrossan Recreation Complex, Emerald Hills Leisure Centre, Festival Place, Glen Allan Recreation Complex, Kinsmen Leisure Centre, and Millennium Place. On July 1, activity tickets can be purchased on-site for $1 per activity. Wristbands will not be sold on July 1. Please visit strathcona.ca/CanadaDay for a listing of ticketed activities.
