MyAccounts now live

A new online portal for tax and utility billing launches in Strathcona County

Strathcona County’s new online portal for tax and utility billing has officially launched to the public at strathcona.ca/MyAccounts.

This new portal, called MyAccounts, allows residents to view their utility billing and assessment and tax information in a more convenient and user-friendly way.

In MyAccounts, residents can view their utility account balance, sign up for email notifications and pay their utility bill online with a credit card. They can also view their tax account balance and, in the new year, download future property assessment and tax notices.

As the County switches to the new system, all utility customers including all current ebill customers, will receive a newly updated paper bill. The new bills will begin distribution on November 15, 2023. Customers can look for them in the mail on their regular billing date.

All utility accounts will receive a new 10-digit account number.

  • Customers will need to use their new account number when they make payment going forward.
  • Customers who pay by internet banking will need to update their account number at their online banking institution once they receive their new bill.
  • Customers currently paying through pre-authorized debit do not need to act, as they will continue to have their payment withdrawn on their regular payment date.

The new utility bills also include an access code for customers to access their utility account through MyAccounts.

Utility customers can sign up for email notifications through MyAccounts.
