Strathcona County 2025 Election results

Strathcona County’s Returning Officer has declared the results of the 2025 General Municipal Election official as of Friday, Oct. 24 at 12 noon. Congratulations to Mayor Rod Frank and the following Councillors and Councillor(s)-Elect who will serve the 2025–2029 term:  

Ward 1: Robert Parks 
Ward 2: Mike Derbyshire 
Ward 3: Lorne Harvey 
Ward 4: Bill Tonita 
Ward 5: Aaron C. Nelson (elected by acclamation) 
Ward 6: Corey-Ann Hartwick  
Ward 7: Glen Lawrence 
Ward 8: Katie Berghofer 

Voter turnout was 26.14 per cent; 20,653 of 79,011 eligible electors cast their votes. The Swearing-In Ceremony of the newly elected Strathcona County Council will be held on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 1:30 p.m. Members of the public may watch the ceremony online at strathcona.ca/webcast.
