The Pointe Agricultural Event Centre on track for fall 2025 opening

Excitement is growing as site and building construction remains on track for The Pointe, Strathcona County’s new agricultural event centre. Scheduled to open in fall 2025, The Pointe is set to be a one-of-a-kind destination where community and agriculture come together.

Built for connection

The Pointe is designed to support a variety of agricultural events and activities, featuring an arena, barn and meeting spaces. These amenities are designed to create a safe and enjoyable experience for animals, handlers and spectators from across Strathcona County and the region.

Building on its role as a hub for community connection, The Pointe will also showcase Strathcona County’s rich agricultural history through several stunning public art installations. Five Canadian artists have been chosen to create interactive art pieces that weave artistic talents with agriculture. These works range from life-size animals to public art plots that can change with the seasons and illustrate year-round agriculture life.

Ahead of the opening, interested parties can begin planning for The Pointe’s diverse range of event and program options. A booking brochure outlining the facility’s amenities and technical specifications is now available on the new facility website at ThePointeAg.ca/bookings. This includes an online booking request form so parties can easily inquire about making the most of facility spaces.

The Pointe is also offering pre-opening sponsorship and advertising opportunities for businesses and organizations. Build your brand alongside The Pointe through naming rights within key locations such as the main arena and staging ring, the tractor room, animal wash bays and more. With its unique combination of agriculture, art and community, The Pointe is set to become a landmark for years to come. Residents can learn more about the facility’s features and construction updates by visiting ThePointeAg.ca.
