Announcing the 2024 Strathcona County Awards of Excellence recipients

The visionary behind the County’s beloved local music festival. The founder of a nationally recognized, 24-hour ultramarathon and fundraiser. A grassroots thrift store that has raised over $2 million dollars to give back to the community. A local volunteer, who sees the community as a family and tirelessly offers her time to make the County a true home for us all.  

These are just some of the people and organizations that uplift the County’s communities with their compassion, dedication and generosity of spirit.

The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 20 at Festival Place starting at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) As part of the celebration this year, the event will feature special guest performances and more.
