Celebrate Family Day in support of Everybody Gets to Play™

Make a difference this Family Day (February 19) by visiting Strathcona County recreation facilities. One hundred per cent of collected admission fees will go to support the Everybody Gets to PlayTM program in Strathcona County – a vital initiative supporting limited income families access recreation and culture services within the community.

The Everybody Gets to PlayTM program provides no-cost drop-in recreational opportunities (Active Pass+) and registered program opportunities at a reduced fee through the Recreation Access Program (RAP). This program aims to increase access to recreation services and create more affordable options for County residents.

From February 12 to 19, Sherwood Park Panago Pizza locations on Baseline Road and Wye Road, will contribute $1 from every large pizza sold, while Pasta Pantry will donate $1 for each “Pasta and Sauce Home Chef” kit (1lb of fresh pasta and 16oz sauce) sold.

“Join the cause and extend a helping hand!” encourages Dennis Franklin, Partnership Business Development Advisor with Strathcona County’s Recreation, Parks and Culture department. “Businesses and organizations can participate in a corporate funding drive by donating $100, $250 or $500 between February 12 to 19. All contributions within these amounts are eligible for a tax receipt, making it a meaningful investment in the community.”
