Free car seat inspection clinic on September 18

Residents are invited to attend a free car seat inspection and information clinic on Saturday, September 18, 2021. The free event, located at Ordze Transit Centre (970 Ordze Road, Sherwood Park) runs from 9 a.m. to 12 noon; rain or shine.

Community Peace Officers and Alberta Health Services staff will be on-site to help with car seat installations and answer questions. Families are asked to bring their car seat and vehicle manuals, and a mask when physical distancing cannot be maintained.

In addition, representatives from RCMP, Family and Community Services and Victim Services will be available to share information about family resources and supports within Strathcona County.

This is an education-focused clinic and is offered as part of Strathcona County’s approach to overall safety. This event will follow all COVID-19 protocols, including mandatory masking when physical distancing cannot be maintained.
