Get loud about mental health!

Residents are encouraged to get loud about how to nourish mental health during this year’s Mental Health Week, May 6 to 12, 2019. Mental Health Week is a national initiative led by the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Pitch-In and help beautify our community

Strathcona County residents are invited to show their community pride and “Pitch-In,” with waste removal from May 1 to 31. This annual campaign brings volunteers together to help remove waste left behind after the spring thaw.

Residential street sweeping starts Monday

Spring cleanup of roads in Sherwood Park is underway in order to enable safe travel for all modes of road transportation.

Street sweeping on main and arterial roads started this week, and County crews will start sweeping residential areas on Monday, April 15. It will take up to four weeks to clean all residential areas.
