Chew on this: what does responsible dog ownership mean to you?

Residents are invited to share their thoughts about responsible dog ownership as part of the County’s examination of its current Dog Control Bylaw (85-2006), which has been in place since 2006. There are currently over 13,000 dogs licensed in Strathcona County.

2017 budget recommendations presented November 18

Strathcona County Council today received 2017 Budget recommendations for municipal operating and capital budgets. Budget 2017 reflects ongoing work to focus on community priorities and implement recently introduced priority-based budgeting (PBB) tools. The budget also identifies a number of efficiencies, based on a review of historical trends and application of the PBB tools.

County receives five-bloom silver rating at Communities in Bloom

Strathcona County is honoured to receive a five-bloom (highest score) silver rating, with special mention for Prairie Walk in Centre in the Park, in the Circle of Excellence category during the 2016 National/International Symposium and Awards Ceremonies this past weekend in Regina, Saskatchewan.
