Annual municipal land licensing program offers land to area farmers

Each year, the County offers area farmers and owners of livestock the opportunity to license land for use as hay and pasture land. The program promotes the efficient use of land and encourages agricultural activities in the County.

Council approves regional multi-purpose agricultural facility concept

Strathcona County Council has approved the concept of a regional multi-purpose agricultural facility. Administration will now work on an appropriate location, associated servicing costs and preliminary engineering designs to confirm final costs for the 2017 budget process.
