Major construction will start early August in the area of Sherwood Drive and Wye Road, in order to improve traffic flow, pedestrian access and safety, and overall road safety standards.

Strathcona County Transit to distribute masks, beginning July 27

As part of the Government of Alberta’s province-wide distribution plan, Masks for Albertans, Strathcona County Transit will distribute non-medical masks beginning Monday, July 27.

Council actions COVID-19 recovery task force work plans

Today, Council approved three task force work plans that will guide Strathcona County’s short, medium and long-term COVID-19 recovery efforts. The workforce plans go into effect immediately and completion is targeted for March 31, 2021.

Strathcona County dog owners are being reminded to register or renew their dog licence or permit by July 31, 2020. All dogs residing in Strathcona County are required to have a valid dog licence.
