Savour returns with new experiences and more local flavour
August 28, 2025

Residents of Strathcona County and the surrounding Edmonton metropolitan region are invited to enjoy Savour on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the Strathcona County Community Centre. This one-day, family-friendly celebration features the best local independent restaurants, food trucks, brewers, distillers, artists, and musicians — and this year, there’s even more to explore.
Festival Lane will be closed to traffic and transformed into an open-air marketplace, featuring a special Farmers’ Market presented in partnership with the Sherwood Park Farmers’ Market and other Strathcona County Sunny Girl Markets. The addition brings dozens of local growers, makers, and artisans together in one space.
“Savour is a unique opportunity to highlight the best of what Sherwood Park and Strathcona County have for locals and visitors alike,” says Alana Seymour, Business Retention and Expansion Officer with Strathcona County Economic Development and Tourism. “The Farmers’ Market addition will offer even more ways to connect with the community and support our amazing local entrepreneurs.”
Guests are invited to explore culinary creations from local food vendors, enjoy performances from homegrown musicians, and take in the visual art curated in partnership with Gallery@501. Gallery@501 will be open during the event with a new exhibition called Korean Stories: Rooted in Hanji by Eunju Park and ILang Song, on display from Sunday, September 7 until Wednesday, October 22.
Admission is free, with costs for food, art and goods purchased. Cash is preferred, though most vendors accept tap payments, and an ATM is available on-site.
