Survey now open for all residents and businesses 

June 21 marks National Indigenous Peoples Day in Canada, and Strathcona County is proud to celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of Indigenous people.

Recruitment for election workers is underway.

On June 10, outdoor recreation will resume without restrictions, including field, diamond, court and spray park access, and youth and adult sports. 

In collaboration with Fort Saskatchewan and the City of Leduc, Strathcona County is launching a mental health campaign to support and strengthen residents’ mental health and normalize mental health conversations.
 

Strathcona County is now home to four more pickleball courts with the official opening of the Josephburg Pickleball Courts on Thursday, June 3.

Strathcona County is pleased to announce an entire week of Canada Day celebration activities, from June 28 to July 4. There will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Seniors are an important part of our community, and we celebrate their contributions through seniors’ week events and taking the time to understand how we can best support older adults to thrive.

The Government of Alberta announced their Open for Summer relaunch plan on May 26 that impacts Strathcona County businesses, services and residents.
