Admission includes all drop-in activities, including instructor-led fitness classes.

Family Discount - Monthly and Annual Rates

Families can enjoy a discount on Millennium Cards together! Each family must have one adult paying the regular Millennium Card rate to qualify for the family discount on additional memberships.

Signing Up For Your Millennium Card

Signing up for the Millennium Card is easy and there are no sign up fees or long term contracts! 

You have three payment options to choose from: monthly, annual or annual payment plan. Choose which one works best for you and then visit Millennium Place, Glen Allan Recreation Complex, Kinsmen Leisure Centre, Ardrossan Recreation Complex, Emerald Hills Leisure Centre or Strathcona Wilderness Centre to sign up for your card. 

Monthly Pre-authorized Payment  
To sign-up bring a VOID cheque, a piece of valid ID and payment for the first month of your Millennium Card with you. An automatic bank withdrawal is then processed on the 15th of each month.

Annual Payment
You can also pay with cash, Visa, MasterCard, Amex or cheque for an annual card by paying the entire amount at the time of purchase.

Annual Payment Plan
Pay 50% down (with cash, Visa, MasterCard, Amex or cheque) followed by three equal payments of the remaining amount for a one-year period using a credit card.

Activities Included on Your Millennium Card

Swim, skate, ski, play, get fit. With the Millennium Card, you have access to over 80 drop-in fitness classes, 3 different fitness centres, swimming, skating, indoor playgrounds, gymnasiums, youth lounges and more. Check out the drop-in schedule for activities you can do with your Millennium Card

Suspending Your Millennium Card

We get it, life happens! 

One perk of the Millennium Card is that you are not locked into a contract. You can cancel or suspend your Millennium Card without having to pay a suspension fee.

Your MCard can be suspended for a minimum of two months up to a maximum of six months, once within a 12 month period. Payments will not be processed during your suspension.

To suspend your vard, visit one of our Customer Service Representatives at our recreation centres or email millenniumcard@strathcona.ca before the 10th day of the month to stop your payment for the current month.

Cancelling Your Millennium Card

If you wish to cancel your Millennium Card, visit one of our Customer Service Representatives at any of our recreation centres or email millenniumcard@strathcona.ca before the 10th day of the month to stop your payment for the current month.

Children under 6 years old must be accompanied by a responsible person who is 14 years of age or older, at all times while using the recreation centre.In our aquatic facilities children under 8Y must be within arms reach of someone 14Y+ at all times.
