Announcing the 2026 Strathcona County Awards of Excellence recipients

A community leader whose work has significantly enriched the cultural landscape of Strathcona County. The dynamic duo that demonstrates strong and visionary leadership to nourish our community with food and hope. A quilters guild that produces over 200 quilts a year for local charities.

These are just a few of the individuals and organizations whose compassion, dedication and generosity have a lasting impact on Strathcona County.

“This year’s Awards of Excellence celebrate the outstanding volunteers, businesses and organizations that truly represent the best of Strathcona County,” says Mayor Rod Frank. “I invite the community to join us at Festival Place as we honour these individuals and groups who give their time and energy to making our County stronger.”

The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 11 at Festival Place starting at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) As part of the celebration this year, the event will feature special guest performances and more.
