If you live or work in Strathcona County, you are invited to help guide policing priorities for Strathcona County RCMP and Enforcement Services by completing a short online survey. The annual survey ensures residents have a voice in policing priorities while fostering trust and cooperation between the community and law enforcement.

“Community voices are at the heart of effective policing. This survey empowers residents to share what matters most to them,” said Tom Sutton, Strathcona County RCMP and Enforcement Services Director. “The information provided will be used by our Community Peace Officers and RCMP members to address community concerns.”

Strathcona County RCMP and Enforcement Services work closely together to ensure public safety throughout the County. The detachment’s integrated efforts include responding to crime, supporting victims, enforcing traffic laws, and providing public education through community engagement initiatives.

Statistics, responses to calls for service, crime trends, and input will also be shared with the new Municipal Policing Committee who will decide the community’s annual policing priorities from April 2026 and March 2027.

The survey is available online from January 12 until February 1 at strathcona.ca/PoliceSurvey. Residents can follow the survey and get notified when results are published by joining County Voice at strathcona.ca/CountyVoice.
