Snow route parking ban declared

A snow route parking ban will go into effect on Sunday, February 2 at 6 p.m. on all collector roads in Sherwood Park.

The parking ban applies to Priority 3 collector roads marked with permanent snow route signs. It does not include Priority 4 residential streets in Sherwood Park. Residents are asked to remove their vehicles from affected roads to allow for safe and efficient snow removal.

Crews will be working 24/7 to clear the snow, which will result in some nighttime noise.

Parking is permitted after the snow has been removed. Officers are authorized to issue a $250 ticket and tow on any vehicle in violation of the parking ban.
