Snow route parking ban declared

A snow route parking ban will go into effect on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 6 a.m. on all collector roads in Sherwood Park.

The parking ban applies to collector roads marked with permanent snow route signs.  Vehicles must be removed from these streets to allow for safe and efficient snow removal.

Officers are authorized to issue a $250 ticket and tow on any vehicle in violation of the parking ban. Parking is permitted after the snow has been removed.

School drop zones in Sherwood Park will be cleared overnight on December 29 (tonight), to ensure the areas are clear for school drop off next week. No parking restrictions will be in place at that time.
