Property assessment is the process of placing a dollar value on property for taxation purposes and is governed by Provincial Legislation.

If you have discussed your assessment details with an assessor and you are of the opinion that your assessment is incorrect, you may file a written complaint to the Assessment Review Board.

An assessment complaint does not exempt you from paying your taxes on time or from late payment penalties. If a complaint is successful, any over payment will be applied to the tax roll.
