Catching the bus in a construction zone
It's construction season in Strathcona County. We anticipate short, periodic closure of stops along Baseline Road within Sherwood park for curb reconstruction. If you come upon a stop that is temporarily closed, please proceed to the next closest stop serviced by your route. This will be the best way to ensure you are picked up.Â
Bus pad construction will also begin in June, closing stops within Sherwood Park for approximately a week at a time. When catching a bus at an affected stop, please stand where the bus can see you as it approaches. Wave at the Operator when the bus approaches. This indicates helps the operator know you want to hop-on. You can also go to the next closest stop on the route. That's ideal if you can make the walk.
