March 18 is Transit Drive Appreciation Day!
On March 18 Strathcona County will celebrate Transit Driver Appreciation Day - Join us!
Please take a moment to thank your operator for all they do to keep you safe on the road. We also have appreciation cards available in the Sherwood Park News or at the Transit terminals for you to write on and drop in the designated boxes - we'll get them to the operators. If you'd rather do it online, use #SCTDriversRock25 we'll make sure they see these too!
Transit Driver appreciation day is an annual event celebrated all over Canada.
Take Part; Take Transit! Join over 1.5 million riders (annually) who let our professional operators take them where they need to go. We have the province’s first fleet of double-decker buses, along with local, local on-demand service (starting June 26, 2022), and commuter service into Edmonton and an accessible transit (Mobility Bus) service. We’re happy to have you along for the ride!
