Changes to dog licence requirements in Strathcona County
Beginning April 1, 2024, dog owners in Strathcona County will no longer be required to purchase an annual dog licence for their pup.

To support non-profit organizations in meeting social service needs in Strathcona County, Council has approved 16 grant applications through the 2024 Social Framework Community Grant program.

Ban announced on non-essential water use
Strathcona County is banning all non-essential water use effective immediately. Residents are advised to use water for essential purposes only. Residents who get water from truck fills are also asked to reduce their water consumption. The ban applies to all Strathcona County residents including country residential areas.
