Strathcona County earns top marks again in 2025 Public Satisfaction Survey

Strathcona County continues to receive top ratings as one of Canada’s most livable communities, with residents expressing strong pride in their quality of life and confidence in the services they receive. The results of the 2025 Public Satisfaction Survey are in, and they highlight a thriving, safe, and welcoming community that residents are proud to call home.
An impressive 93 per cent of residents rate Strathcona County as a good or very good place to live, while 94 per cent say it is a great place to raise children. In addition, 92 per cent of respondents feel the County is a safe community, reinforcing its reputation as a place where families and individuals can feel secure, supported, and connected.
“These results speak to the strength of our community and the pride citizens have in calling Strathcona County home,” says Mayor Rod Frank. “We’re encouraged to see continued improvement in these key measures and grateful to residents for their feedback. Their input helps us ensure we are delivering high-quality services, investing responsibly, and continuing to build a community where everyone can thrive.”
Satisfaction with County services remains strong, with 83 per cent of residents indicating they are satisfied with the services they receive. This reflects the County’s ongoing commitment to delivering responsive, reliable, and high-quality programs and infrastructure.
This year’s survey also saw the highest level of participation in the past five years. The Public Satisfaction Survey was conducted in early 2025 through telephone research and the County Voice online engagement platform, with robust participation from residents across the community.
Strathcona County extends its sincere thanks to all residents who took the time to participate. This feedback plays a vital role in identifying strengths, guiding improvements, and helping ensure Strathcona County remains a welcoming, vibrant place to live, work, and raise a family.
