Enjoy the annual kick off to the holiday season at Strathcona County’s Celebration of Lights

On Saturday, November 15, you are invited to help kick off Strathcona County’s holiday season with the annual Celebration of Lights winter wonderland festivities at Festival Place. 

Enjoy free festivities from 3 to 5 p.m., including wagon rides with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Activities include campfire cooking, holiday crafts, writing letters to Santa, face painting and cookie decorating kits to take home and enjoy with your family. Special guests can be found throughout the festival site.  

At 5 p.m., the countdown begins, and the magic of the season will come alive with the lighting of the community holiday lights and LED tree. 

Festival Way will be closed at Brentwood Boulevard north from 2 to 6 p.m. Parking is available at the Sherwood Park Arena and Sports Centre, and the Community Centre and Centre in the Park parkades. 

Please share the holiday spirit by bringing a donation for the Strathcona Food Bank. Dress for the weather as most activities will take place outside.
