Strathcona County is reminding drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians to watch out for each other and share the road safely.

The 2021 Public Satisfaction Survey Results are in, showing that overall residents rate Strathcona County very positively as a good and safe place to live, raise children and retire.

In Strathcona County, residents receive great value for their property tax dollars that fund and maintain high quality municipal services and infrastructure that are relied on every day. This includes roads, fire, ambulance, police, recreation, parks, transit, economic development and community social programs.

Businesses in the region are invited to attend an Industry Supply Chain Forum on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the Shell Theatre in Fort Saskatchewan. The forum will connect attendees with many of the region’s major industrial companies.

Strathcona County is highlighting the importance of Emergency Preparedness Week, May 1 to 7. Everyone plays an important role in keeping family, friends, businesses and the community safe. 

Strathcona County residents are invited to show their community pride and “Pitch-in” with litter removal from May 13 to 29, 2022. This annual campaign helps remove litter left behind after the spring thaw.

Strathcona County is looking for resident feedback on its approach to clearing over 200 kilometres of trails and pathways during the winter. 

The City of Edmonton, Strathcona County and the River Valley Alliance (RVA) have finalized funding to realize their shared vision for a new footbridge over the North Saskatchewan River, which is scheduled to begin construction late summer/early fall.
