Make a difference this Family Day (February 19) by visiting Strathcona County recreation facilities. One hundred per cent of collected admission fees will go to support the Everybody Gets to Play^TM program in Strathcona County – a vital initiative supporting limited income families access recreation and culture services within the community.

The water ban in Strathcona County has been lifted and residents can return to normal water use.  

To support non-profit organizations in meeting social service needs in Strathcona County, Council has approved 16 grant applications through the 2024 Social Framework Community Grant program.  

Strathcona County is banning all non-essential water use effective immediately. Residents are advised to use water for essential purposes only. Residents who get water from truck fills are also asked to reduce their water consumption. The ban applies to all Strathcona County residents including country residential areas. 

Chief Administrative Officers (CAOs) from municipalities in the Edmonton Metro Region have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a new, collaborative framework intended to improve regional transit services.

Residents are invited to help set 2024/2025 policing priorities for Strathcona County RCMP and Strathcona County Enforcement Services in a brief survey.

Strathcona County is pleased to present a new art exhibition, Reflections, featuring artworks from Canadian artists Carol Wylie (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) and Marie-Pierre Castonguay (Sherwood Park, Alberta). The exhibit opens at the Gallery on January 23 and shows until March 2, 2024.
