Graffiti on fence

The majority of fences in Strathcona County are resident owned. Even if the fence is on a walkway, fence maintenance on all sides is the responsibility of the homeowner, as the developer built the fence on private property. The County is not permitted to paint over private property.

Strathcona County offers support to those residents affected by graffiti with a free graffiti removal kit (including paint supplies) from a local paint store. If your fence has been hit by graffiti, you can apply for a free kit.

  • Take a picture and include the photo of the Graffiti with your application form.
  • Complete the Graffiti Removal Kit application.
  • Report the graffiti to the RCMP non emergency line at 780-467-7741.

Submit your Graffiti Removal Kit Application and photo via County Connect.

If you are reporting a fence that is not your property or a in a walkway we will notify the affected residents and provide support by offering a free removal kit.
