The 30 day time frame under the LUB would not apply in this context.

We ask all potential election workers if they are working on a candidate's campaign. Based on the outcome of the written interview, including their response to whether or not they are working on a campaign, election workers are assigned a position and poll.

The Land Use Bylaw prohibits election signs on all County property. Bylaw 44-88: Public Transportation System Bylaw prohibits campaigning and distribution of any campaign-related material in or on transit vehicles or property (terminals, parking lots, bus stops).
