Weekend itineraries: date night

This weekend in Sherwood Park and Strathcona County

Weekend itineraries: date night

Don’t miss out on heading to Elk Island National Park and enjoying the weekly programs they have in place. Learn about the importance of bison, take part in a mock archaeological dig, and join in on guided hikes. They even have some exciting programs for adults looking to connect and make new friends – Sparks in the Park has sunset paddles throughout the month, but space is limited and registering is required. By the way, if you head out to the national park this Saturday, keep an eye out for our Welcome Adventurer pop-up tourism kiosk! Head early in the day or later on to avoid crowds.

Interior of Bleu Flames

if you’re looking for a spot for a date night or a night out with friends, head over to Bleu Flames for a memorable time. Enjoy four-course fondue while you take the time to relax, bond, and have a lasting conversation. This is the place to go if you’re looking to get to know someone – either for the first time or all over again. Take a look at a speed dating event they have taking place later this month.

Flower stems being cut to make arrangement

We’re not telling you what to do, but if you’re heading to Bleu Flames for a date night, you might be interested in picking up some flowers ahead of time. Luckily enough, Funky Petals is located relatively close by in the Troika Business Centre. Don’t worry; if you aren’t looking for flowers for date night, this place is still worth dropping in and looking at their arrangements. Take a peek at their website to see a list of funky plants they have available as well.
