The Capital and Projects Advisor is a key member of the Financial Planning team that provides strong tangible capital asset and projects skills to the Financial and Strategic Services department as well as support for all Strathcona County departments. This position coordinates and facilitates the County’s capital reporting to provide decision makers with timely, accurate and reliable financial information and analysis that is ultimately reported to Council to assess ongoing capital activity and stewardship of Tangible Capital Assets (TCA). This role is a key contributor to establishing and communicating tangible capital asset policy and procedures, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS).
