Job Description

This posting is for 2 full-time hourly positions up to 4 months 

 

Strathcona County is seeking 2 students to work with Records and Information Management this summer. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in careers working in a records and information management environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in the clean-up of electronic and physical records 

  • Assist with organizing and disposing of records according to records management policies 

  • Provide reports on progress of clean-up activities 

  • Respond to records and information management service requests by providing assistance using records management software and established procedures 

  • Review process guides and update as required 

 

Qualifications and Skills 

  • Must be enrolled or recently completed post-secondary education in Records, Information Management, Computer and/or Library Sciences  

  • Experience working with MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word  

  • Experience working within a SharePoint environment  

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong team focus   

  • Responsible, reliable and able to work independently  

  • Attention to detail  

  • Customer service skills  

  

Conditions of Employment:  

  • Submission of a Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
