As the Corporate Creative and Web Strategy Supervisor, you will lead a talented crew of web professionals, a multimedia designer and print/mail experts. From reimagining our digital touchpoints to developing striking print and visual assets, you will help translate strategy into impactful creative execution that resonates with residents and staff alike.
This role is your chance to champion innovation, elevate the County’s brand, and guide meaningful communication through web and visual content. This position will also help evolve Print and Mail Services to better serve our internal and external audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of creative and web projects, coordinating with key audiences to define projects scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop and implement performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of creative and web initiatives, analyze, evaluate and report on project outcomes, including project KPIs being tracked and achieved to be able to provide future recommendations
- Supervise, lead and mentor the creative, web design and print teams promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Develop, create and refine design guidelines, establishing and maintaining a comprehensive digital strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives and leveraging the latest technologies and trends to enhance web and creative initiatives
- Provide creative design direction and feedback for corporate-wide projects, developing quality standards and clear escalation processes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree or Diploma in a related field such as graphic design, web development or visual communications
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience supervising and working in a team for the execution of web design and creative services, including multimedia design
- High proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and multimedia programs
- Proficiency in web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- In-depth experience with content management systems (CMS)
- Knowledge of web design principles and best practices, including responsive design and accessibility standards
- Proficiency in user-centered web designs utilizing UX/UI best practices and innovative strategies, familiarity with SEO and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Experience with web performance optimization and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with photo editing, including retouching, photo manipulation and composite skills
- Proficiency with cameras, photography and video development is an asset
- Experience in print/mail procurement or production is considered an asset
- Strong relationship building and client management skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate and seek design input and feedback
- Strategic problem-solving skills and the capacity to distill complex information into meaningful concepts, ideas and designs
- Attention to detail, with precision in design execution and quality assurance
