Scheduled winter activities

Go for a walk and check out the holiday lights in Broadmoor Lake Park through the holiday season! 

The LED tree will be lit up daily in front of Festival Place through the holiday season from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. The soundtrack for the tree light show can be heard on the radio by tuning in to 103.3 FM.

Registered winter walk

Join us for walking Tuesdays in the heart of Josephburg. This gentle, welcoming program is perfect for older adults who want to keep moving and meet others in the community.

  • Location: Moyer Recreation Centre Hall
  • Date: Runs weekly on Tuesdays from November to March (some omit dates may apply)
  • Time: 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Drop-in winter walk
Connect over indoor walking and complimentary coffee at the Ardrossan Recreation Complex!

  • Date: Runs weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from November to March (some omit dates apply).
  • Time: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Drop-in winter walk is included with the Active Pass or Active Pass+. Don't have a pass? The cost is only $2.00 to drop in.
