- Virtual Spring Break 4-day camp – Explore the myths, legends and origins of mythological creatures in this virtual camp for 8 to 12 year olds. Includes a supply kit for pick-up.
- Virtual visual arts – Family Art Discovery – single classes
- All classes are held live, virtually through Microsoft Teams. Learn more about virtual programs.
- Our instructors will demonstrate the steps in creating each project, and are happy to take questions during the class.
- See course descriptions for supplies needed. Instructors will offer ideas for optional or substitute materials/supplies where applicable.

Strathcona County offers visual arts programming out of two locations, Gallery@501 and Smeltzer House. Visual arts includes everything from pottery, glass fusing, photography, fibre art, sewing, clay, painting, soapstone and more. Programs are designed to introduce students to new disciplines, or hone existing skills. We also offer programs for private groups and schools.
Programs have been created to meet all Alberta Health Services Guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
