A support unit is taken to an emergency site and left on-scene as required. SCES currently has two support units; one for wildland responses and one for firefighter rehabilitation.

Strathcona County: Fire restriction in effect
A fire restriction is in effect. Open burning is not allowed. All fire and fireworks permits are suspended until further notice as conditions have made it dangerous for open burning.
