How it works

After joining the line, you’ll be guided to enter the Broadview Enviroservice Station from the comfort of your vehicle. Up to eight vehicles will enter at one time. The doors will close once the vehicles are inside for a secure voting experience. Election workers will bring clipboards with privacy screens directly to all eligible voters in your vehicle. You will vote from your seats before returning the clipboard back to the election workers who will place your ballots in the ballot box while you watch. Once all voters in every vehicle have finished voting, the doors will open, and you will be directed through the exit.

What to bring

You must bring appropriate identification to vote.

Safety and wait times

For everyone’s safety, please remain in your vehicle at all times. Wait times for drive-thru voting may vary. There are no public washrooms on site. Make a plan with your passengers so you are prepared if you have to wait.

Enviroservice Station services

Services accessed inside the Broadview Enviroservice Station building will not be impacted, as drive-thru voting is happening on days the building is usually closed. Outdoor recycling services and the HodgePodge Lodge are open according to their regular business hours during drive-thru voting.

  • Outdoor Recycling hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 6, 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15
  • HodgePodge Lodge hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 8 and 15

You can access outdoor recycling and HodgePodge Lodge services through a separate line from those who are drive-thru voting. You will be unable to access these services and vote at the same time. Please be prepared for longer wait times and follow all road signs and election staff directions while on site.
