Picnic sites
The Strathcona Wilderness Centre has three picnic sites, each with a fire pit and picnic table, plus a bookable cookhouse. These spaces are perfect for family outings, group gatherings or a relaxing afternoon in nature with a fire and a meal. Picnic sites must be booked at least 48 hours in advance and require payment at the time of booking. All bookings are for a minimum of three hours. Fire pits must be extinguished at least one hour before closing. Pets and alcohol are not permitted. Each site includes a fire pit and picnic table.

Campsites
The Strathcona Wilderness Centre offers year‑round walk-in campsites, a rustic cabin, and bunkhouses for overnight stays in a natural setting. All tent sites are for tents only (no RVs or campers) and must be booked at least 48 hours in advance, with full payment required at the time of booking.
Tent sites
Tent sites include a fire pit, picnic table, potable water access and nearby outhouses.

Rent-a-tent - A tent for two to four people will be set up and ready for your group when you arrive, making it easy to enjoy camping without the hassle of bringing or pitching your own.
Bunkhouses
Sleep in four dorm-style bunk beds made of sturdy plywood in a simple, rustic setting. Guests should bring sleeping bags, mattress pads and pillows. Each bunkhouse area features a fire pit and picnic tables, with outhouses conveniently nearby.
There are three bunkhouses at Campsite #1 each bunkhouse sleeps up to 8 people. The bunkhouses can be booked individually or book all 3 for a large group.

Birch Bungalow Cabin
This rustic cabin sleeps two people and includes a queen bed, table and chairs. Guests must bring their own bedding. The cabin has no running water or electricity, offering a simple, back-to-nature experience.

The Lodge
The Strathcona Wilderness Centre lodge is available for day or overnight rentals, with a minimum three-hour booking for day use. It’s an ideal space for corporate teams, faith-based groups, youth organizations such as Beavers or Girl Guides, and family reunions. The lodge features dorm-style rooms with bunk beds, a fully equipped commercial kitchen in the Upper Lodge, and, for whole-lodge rentals, additional meeting space to accommodate larger groups or events.
