Building Bridges
Building Bridges is a community event focused on building bridges of trust between individuals impacted by family violence, specialized services, and the RCMP. The Strathcona County RCMP, A Safe Place, and the Saffron Centre will discuss their roles in supporting survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence and fostering a stronger network of care. At the event, each agency will provide a brief presentation on their process for supporting survivors, followed by a group discussion on current collaborative efforts and successes, barriers to providing trauma informed care, and the future of collaboration between specialized agencies.
Things to note:
• Age recommendation is 16+
• Light refreshments will be provided
• Staff from Saffron will be present to provide emotional support.

Join detachment leadership for a short presentation about how the RCMP and Enforcement Services work together to keep our community safe, followed by the opportunity to ask questions and discuss safety concerns.

Safety Bear
Safety Bear and a RCMP Member attend community events, schools, playschools, daycares, and festivals. We are geared towards young and young at heart! All appearances are emergency call dependent. Please note that we are unable to attend block parties. Send us your request with as much notice as possible.
