The Disability Management Specialist II is responsible for delivering Strathcona County’s disability management program by providing comprehensive case management for both occupational and non occupational injuries and illnesses. This role manages short term and long term absences with a strong focus on early intervention, proactive communication, coordinated support, and collaboration. The position provides expert guidance on duty-to-accommodate requirements, implements stay-at-work strategies, and facilitates safe, timely, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes for employees.
