Weekend itineraries: fall has arrived

Did you know that Strathcona County has a wide range of outdoor courts available for use? From tennis to handball, pickleball, and basketball, there are courts across the entire municipality. There are even sand volleyballs courts to try out in a few different locations. Try them out this weekend for a fun, activity-filled weekend. For a full listing of courts and their location, head over to our webpage here:

Bucking Good Eats food truck

Time is running out to try one of Strathcona County’s newest food trucks: Bucking Good Eats! This food truck started up this year and is easy to spot thanks to its bright red colour. While they call Sherwood Park home, make sure to stop by whenever you see it out and about to help support local. The food truck season is ending soon, so don’t wait to try out their hamburgers, hot dogs, or poutine.

Interior of Paisley Lane Studio

Paisley Lane is a locally owned photography studio that also houses a retail boutique filled with locally handmade creations. Whether looking to take some family photos before the leaves fall from the trees, or looking to support local vendors, you can do both by stopping by Paisley Lane. Check out their website for an idea of what they have in stock, or make plans to stop by this weekend and visit in person.

Please ensure that you are adhering to all public health mandates in place, including wearing a mask and physical distancing. Enjoy the weekend in Sherwood Park and Strathcona County!
