Once application is submitted, please allow up to several weeks for the application process to be complete.

The Taxi Driver permit is valid for one year, unless otherwise revoked. Every driver’s permit expires on the date that is one year following the date the driver’s permit is issued.

If your current Taxi Driver Permit goes missing, it must reported so to Strathcona County Enforcement Services immediately. A replacement Taxi Driver Permit Card may be issued at a fee of $51.75.Â
The Taxi Vehicle permit is valid for one Vehicle Permit Year (from date of issue). Each taxi vehicle shall be inspected at least once every twelve months by a certified mechanic.
